TeamSpeak is a quality, scalable application which enables people to speak with one another over the Internet. TeamSpeak has incredible crystal clear voice communication.
As a DcVirtual Member you have free access to our TS server. To start, you need the TS client.
Download the Client Here - make sure you are downloading the client, not the server.
You will also need a computer headset with a microphone. Also make sure you configure your TS as follows:
1. Always use the push to talk method. Using voice activated will be very destorted and can pick up a lot of background noice.
Open TS. Click on settings and sound input/output. Select push to talk. Select a button on your keyboard to push to transmit. Most use right control.
2. You will probally want to disable all sound notifications, they are a bit annoying. Click on settings and options. Go to the sound notfications tab and select disable all.
3. Configure the rest of the settings to your liking.
There are two ways you can connect to the server.
1. Go to the TS webpost page, which also displays others currently on the server. See Here
Click on the IP address listed. A pop-up box will display. Enter a nickname, this will be your name inside the server. Enter your login and pass and click submit.
2. This method is much easier once setup and allows you to simply open TS and connect, without going to the webpost page.
Open your TS. Click on connection, and connect. In the white space right click and select add server. On the right side enter a name for the server - "DcVirtual Team Speak", enter the server address -
38.98.243.98:8768 Enter a nickname - this can be anything, select registered, enter your login and password.. Click connect. Now anytime you open your TS, the server will be there to connect to by simply selecting connection and connect.
If you would like your own priviate channel you can passwrod protect on the server, let me know.
Once connected to the server you can also send text messages by right clicking on the user name.
