Up to but not including FL180, 500 FT separation from IFR altitudes. 2500, 3500, 4500, 5500, 6500, 7500, 8500, 9500, 10500, 11500, 12500, 13500, 14500, 15500, 16500, 17500 The pilot may need to adjust his or her altitude in order to maintain VFR. Thus, if the pilot is flying at 7500 and cannot maintain VFR, he or she could descend to 6500 and so on. |
